Welcome to Deeside Brewery

As our name suggests, we are located in the heart of Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire. We are a stone’s throw from the River Dee, the natural location for a brewery. The surrounding Grampian mountains provide the inspiration for the original recipes and the pure, soft water of the river is an essential ingredient in all our beers. Our beers take the names of influential, but often overlooked, historic figures from the area. Each is represented by ancient symbols found carved on Pictish stones. They appear on all the pump clips and bottle labels, and each beer has its own story to tell. We have relocated to a custom built facility at Deeside Activity Park, near Aboyne.
